How care works

Free Intro Call

15 min, virtual. Ask your questions and find out whether Honey Life is the right fit. No cost.

Initial Visit

60 min. A full health history, a lifestyle review, a physical exam where needed, and a plan for any testing. You leave with a personalized treatment plan.

Lab testing, if needed

Common panels look at thyroid, iron and hormone levels. Typically about $170.

Follow-Up Visits

45, 30 or 15 min. Go over results, adjust your plan and track how you’re doing.

What treatment can include

Every plan is built around you and kept as simple as possible. Depending on your needs, it may include:

  • Nutrition and lifestyle changes

  • Botanical medicine and supplements

  • Lab testing

  • IV therapy and injections

  • Prescription medication, where appropriate

Coverage and direct billing

Many extended health plans cover naturopathic visits, and many also cover IV therapy given by a naturopathic doctor. Check your plan’s annual naturopathic maximum.

We direct bill most major insurers, including Pacific Blue Cross, Canada Life, Sun Life, Manulife, and Green Shield, so you don’t have to pay up front and claim it back.

MSP (BC’s public plan) does not cover naturopathic care.
